The Royal Couple at Celebration of The Republic of Srpska Day

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine accompanied by Mr. Dusan Babac, Member of the Privy Council of HRH Crown Prince Alexander and General Manager of Royal Palace Fund, visited Banja Luka today where they met with the President of the Republic of Srpska, HE Mr. Milorad Dodik, representatives of the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the highest state officials at the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Srpska.

Their Royal Highnesses attended a Holy Liturgy officiated by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej and the Hierarchs and clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the Cathedral temple of Christ the Savior in Banja Luka.

Crown Princess Katherine visited the Home for children without parental care “Rada Vranjesevic” in Banja Luka, where she delivered Christmas gifts to the children, as well as other humanitarian aid, toys and clothes, which was donated by Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization, whose patron is Crown Princess Katherine. In addition to the Home for children, the Crown Princess visited the Clinical Center of Banja Luka where she delivered aid and wished them a happy Christmas.

“I am very happy to be here today with you in Banja Luka and to have the opportunity to deliver these valuable gifts. This valuable help is a donation from the Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization, which constantly helps Serbian hospitals and children's homes. My husband, Crown Prince Alexander and I always have hearts filled with joy when we are in Republika Srpska. My foundation and I myself will continue to help children from Republika Srpska with the assistance of our friends from diaspora. I wish you all a happy Christmas and a Happy New Year! Christ is born”, said Crown Princess Katherine.

The Royal couple also attended a parade at Trg Krajine as well as the state ceremony at Sport Center Borik.
