Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine hosted a reception at the Royal Palace in gratitude to all the donors who were part of the project of reconstructing the house for a vulnerable family from the village of Mojsinje. The familiy from the village of Mojsinje, near Cicevac, lived in a house that was about to be demolished, and when Mrs. Daniela Celikovic, a great benefactor of the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization and a friend of Crown Princess Katherine learned about this, together with the Foundation of Crown Princess Katherine started to build a new home for this poor family. Today, several months later, in the same place there is a new, clean and warm family home.
London Charity Cocktail and Auction Raised Funds and Awareness for Children with Special Needs in Serbia
Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, whose patron is Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine, organized a successful charity cocktail and auction at the University Women’s Club in London to raise funds and awareness for the treatment of children with disabilities in Serbia. The auction items – paintings and dresses – were generously donated by the Serbian artist Cile Marinkovic and by the designer Roksanda Ilincic.

In the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Prince Peter, Prince Philip, Serbian Ambassador to the UK HE Mr. Ognjen Pribicevic, Sir Paul Judge, Chairman of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Patron of Cambridge Judge Business School, and Miss Dana Marinkovic, artist and the daughter of Cile Marinkovic, the humanitarian exhibition of paintings was officially opened at “Gallery 106” in London. This event is a prelude to the charity auction and cocktail where distinguished guests will have the opportunity to purchase paintings by Cile Marinkovic and dresses by designer Roksanda Ilincic to help raise funds for the treatment of children with disabilities from Serbia.
