Lifeline New York Announces Annual Benefit Luncheon

Lifeline New York will hold it’s annual benefit luncheon at Le Cirque Restaurant in New York City on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.  This annual benefit is attended by distinguished international guests and prominent New Yorkers. Funds raised this year will support pediatric cancer care in Serbia, which is being guided by doctors from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine states, “We are looking forward to being back in New York for our annual benefit. The support from our community of friends and the Serbian diaspora is so critical. We are so blessed to have their continuous generosity.”

Lifeline New York works directly with the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in Belgrade to provide critically needed humanitarian aid to the neediest people of Serbia regardless of religion or ethnic origin, with a focus on aiding physically and mentally handicapped children, orphans and working with medical institutions to improve health care throughout the country.

The emergency aid and medical equipment supplied by Lifeline New York comes at a critical and pressing time. HRH Crown Prince Alexander shares, “We can take this opportunity to improve the health and wellness of our future generation. The equipment, expertise and doctor training that my wife’s foundation provides to the Serbian medical community have helped so many families.”

Lifeline New York invites you to share in this journey and visit our website to join this event, make a donation or learn more about our projects in Serbia (www.lifelineny.org[email protected], 212.867-5050). The Princess Katherine Foundation continues to bring awareness to cancer issues in Serbia and is organizing the Fifth Oncology Symposium in Belgrade, from October 21-22, with the support of doctors from the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in New York, who will be attending this symposium in Belgrade. For more information on the Oncology Symposium or for registration, please email the Princess Katherine Foundation at [email protected].
