04 Mar 2026

HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation is thrilled to announce that a second large transatlantic container shipment, carrying clothing, shoes, hygiene items, school supplies, and toys, has successfully arrived at the White Palace, thanks to the continued dedication and generosity of the Lifeline Humanitarian Organisation of Chicago. This arrival marks another major milestone in an ongoing humanitarian initiative focused on supporting vulnerable communities.
The shipment included thousands of presents designated for children and families in need across a wide network of social care institutions and schools in Serbia and Republika Srpska.
The arrival of this second container highlights both the scale and the long-term commitment behind this transatlantic effort, which aims to bring comfort, dignity, and joy to children and families. Each package was thoughtfully prepared so that recipients receive meaningful, personalized gifts tailored to their needs.
A representative of Lifeline Chicago expressed gratitude to the many partners, donors, and volunteers who made the shipment possible, emphasizing that this collective effort reflects the power of international solidarity and compassion. The contents of this shipment will be distributed to 25 institutions throughout Serbia and Republika Srpska, including orphanages, day care centers for people with developmental disabilities and women’s shelters in Belgrade, Sombor, Kovačica, Stamnica, Veternik, Sremčica, Ivanjica, Novi Sad, Subotica, Kladovo, Kovin, Višegrad, Modriča, Bijeljina, and Banja Luka.
