The Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, continues its dedication to providing much-needed aid to schools in Serbia, with yet another significant donation to the Anton Skala Elementary School

The Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, continues its dedication to providing much-needed aid to schools in Serbia, with yet another significant donation to the Anton Skala Elementary School in Belgrade, Serbia.

Wishing to further support the vital and impactful work of the teachers at this school, which primarily serves children with autism, a variety of specialized didactic learning tools and educational toys were donated. These tools are designed to enhance students' skills and play a crucial role in their development. The specialized equipment and toys help students improve agility, coordination, attention, concentration, fine motor skills, and perception.

This incredibly generous donation was provided by the Pittsburgh Tri-State Committee of Lifeline Chicago, a dedicated group of tireless, steadfast, and long-time supporters of Lifeline Chicago.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Pittsburgh Tri-State Committee of Lifeline Chicago for their unwavering support of the Anton Skala School.

“The successful implementation of another important project aimed at helping children not only provides valuable resources to enhance their learning experience but also highlights the importance of collaboration and compassion in fostering an environment of understanding and support. These children do not express their feelings in the way we are used to, but in their hearts, there is a love for the entire world—unconditional and strong. And we owe it to them to return that love in the same way,” said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

The specialized didactic resources we have received, which have greatly delighted us, will certainly qualitatively enhance our work with children. This is yet another proof that caring for the most vulnerable members of society should be a shared goal for all of us. It is especially meaningful to us that HRH Princess Katherine’s Foundation and the supporters of Lifeline Chicago have recognized the needs of our children and school and have been providing us with support for many years through valuable donations that have significantly improved the working conditions in our school," said Mrs. Nataša Selić Stanković, the school principal.
