HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE DELIVERS MEDICAL EQUIPMENT WORTH 40,300 EUROS TO CACAK HOSPITAL

HRH Crown Princess Katherine visited Cacak General Hospital and officially delivered medical equipment worth 40,300 Euros to the Paediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynaecology and ENT-Maxillofacial Surgery departments. The donation of a new Samsung ultrasound machine worth 31,200 Euros was the result of the Lifeline London 25th Anniversary dinner at the Claridge’s Hotel in London, in the presence of TRH Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, as well as the Minister of Health of the Republic of Serbia Dr. Zlatibor Loncar. Also there was the donation of a new Cardiotocography (CTG) monitor for pregnant women worth 4,100 Euros from the Lifeline New York Humanitarian Organization, whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine, and a dental chair Sirona, worth 5,000 Euros, was the donation of Project C.U.R.E. humanitarian organization from Denver, Colorado. “My husband and I are helping our people wherever they might be, as Serbia is not only Belgrade and I am happy to deliver medical equipment to other hospitals as well” – said HRH Crown Princess Katherine in her speech. During her visit, HRH Crown Princess Katherine was accompanied by Mrs. Beatrice Grozdanic and Mr. Lazar Vukovic, board member of the Lifeline London Humanitarian Organization, as well as Mrs. Maruska Topalovic, long-time supporter of humanitarian activities of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and very successful businesswoman from Cacak. Present were also Dr Danijela Urosevic, Assistant Minister of Health of the Republic of Serbia – Sector for European Integrations and International Cooperation who delivered a speech, Mr. Milun Todorovic, the Mayor of Cacak, Dr. Radoslav Milosevic, Director of the General Hospital in Cacak, as well as the entire medical staff of the Hospital, who thanked HRH Crown Princess Katherine for the valuable donation. HRH Crown Princess Katherine’s Foundation already donated valuable medical equipment worth over 100,000 Euros to Cacak General Hospital in April this year and HRH Crown Princess Katherine assured that her Foundation will continue supporting this hospital also in the future.
