LIFELINE CHICAGO SPONSORS 15TH SUMMER CAMP “HIVE OF FRIENDSHIP”

Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization, whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine, provided funds for the 15th Summer Camp “Hive of Friendship” – for 50 children from Kosovo and Metohija municipalities of Strpce and Partes, as well as children from socially disadvantaged families from Serbia. The camp will be organized in two shifts, from 9 to 22 August this year. The value of this donation is over 4,500 Euros. The “Hive of Friendship” Sports and Environmental Camp takes place at the Begecka Jama Nature Park in the village of Begec, 20 km from Novi Sad. The aim of this camp is to reduce the social exclusion of a particularly vulnerable group of children and youth without parental care or adequate parental care by socializing with children from similar institutions as well as with children from the local communities through sports, environmental and cultural content programs. Today, a transfer to the Royal Compound in Belgrade and a professional tour was organized for the children from the Camp and their companions. The children had the opportunity to visit the Royal Palace and the White Palace, and they had refreshments, then they went back to their activities near Novi Sad.
