More Than 1,000 Children at Traditional White Palace Christmas Reception

Belgrade, 4 January 2018 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine hosted traditional Christmas receptions for more than 1,000 children without parental care.
Children without parental care, Roma children, refugee children and children with disabilities, aged three to twelve, from homes and associations throughout Serbia, had the opportunity to rejoice Christmas together with Their Royal Highnesses at the White Palace. His Grace Antonije, Bishop of Moravica explained to children the true meaning of Christmas and its significance.
During the day, three receptions were held where the children enjoyed the wonderful gifts and Santa Claus, the animators from the ensemble “Cigra”, as well as the music program of the Sabac diocese choir “St. John the Theologian”.
Mrs. Dona Sekulic, member of the Board of Directors the ambassador of the Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization, together with Dr. Aleksandra Milicevic and Mrs. Daniela Celikovic, representatives of the Lifeline New York Humanitarian Organization, as well as Mrs. Natasa Davidov, Board member of Lifeline United Kingdom, helped their Royal Highnesses deliver the gifts to the children.
The receptions were greatly helped by the Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization, whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine, as well as by numerous donors, among which are embassy of Myanmar, companies Marbo a company of Pepsico, Chunga Lunga, Mogyi , STR Vrabac, Balon Centar, Coca-Cola, Megaplast, Pekara „30“, as well as the international schools Gymnasium "Milena Pavlovic Barili", The International School of Belgrade, The British International School of Belgrade, Russian School, Prima International School, Deutche Schule Belgrad, Brook Hill International School.
Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank all the donors who helped this year’s receptions for children and together made this holiday beautiful.
