NEW PLAYGROUND DONATION TO “JOVAN JOVANOVIC ZMAJ” HOME FOR CHILDREN WITHOUT PARENTS
04 Oct 2018
Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine together with the Wuchenich family officially opened a new playground worth more than 12,000 EUR at the home for children without parental care “Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj”, which operates under the auspices of the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children and Youth “Zvecanska”.
The sponsor of this valuable project was the Foundation of John and Mildred Medic Wuchenich, it was done in the Memory of their brother Gary who passed away earlier this year. The Wuchenich family is one of the largest individual donors of Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Foundation, whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
"The reason for today's visit is this beautiful donation of the children's playground where the children will spend their free time and play sports. The donation is provided through Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organisation, whose patron I am, as a gift from the Foundation of John and Mildred Medic Wuchenich. I am very happy because this donation will enable children to have fun, enjoy playing outdoors and create a balance of their day-to-day living”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
During the last two years, the Wuchenich family has also generously donated to assist Kovin Psychiatric Hospital, that houses a people that are often unfortunately forgotten.
