SERBIAN DOCTOR FROM MIAMI AND HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE DONATE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO DRAGISA MISOVIC HOSPITAL MATERNITY WARD
Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine and Dr. Gorana Kuka Epstein from Miami have officially delivered hearing screening equipment for newborns, wheelchair, blood pressure suction device, mobile blood pressure device and infusion poles worth around 12,000 Euros, to the Maternity Ward of the Clinic “Dr. Dragisa Misovic” in Belgrade. Dr. Gorana Kuka Epstein was born in Belgrade, where she attended elementary school and high school, and later graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Upon graduation, she completed her compulsory medical internship at the Dragisa Misovic Clinic, specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. In 2014, she moved to America and joined the Foundation for Plastic Surgery and Hair Transplantation. "I thank Dr. Gorana Kuka Epstein, who, though she lives far away, never forgot her country. I hope that this equipment will improve the work of the Clinic and improve the care mothers and their newborns” – said Crown Princess Katherine in her speech. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Djukic, Director of the Clinical and Hospital Center “Dr. Dragisa Misovic” and Dr. Sladjana Mihajlovic, Head of the Maternity Ward, as well as the entire medical staff of the Clinic, thanked Princess Katherine and Dr. Kuka Epstein for their donation and assistance. Accompanying HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Dr. Kuka Epstein was her husband Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, a plastic surgeon from Miami, Florida.
