Crown Princess Katherine Foundation And Project C.U.R.E. Fundraising Event

Chicago, Illinois, United States, 9 August 2017 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine were hosted by Project C.U.R.E. at the Drake Hotel in Chicago for a fundraising event to raise awareness of global healthcare needs and supported the delivery of life-saving medical supplies and equipment to medical professionals, and patients under their care, in Serbia.

Thanks to cooperation with Project C.U.R.E, Crown Princess Katherine Foundation will provide sterilization medical equipment worth US $ 1,400,000 in the upcoming period, all over Serbia, to the hospitals in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin and Kraljevo.

"We are thrilled to host HRH Princess Katherine for this special evening. The funds raised will improve health and save lives in Serbia through the delivery of medical supplies and equipment. Together, we are changing the world!", said Dr. Douglas Jackson, president and CEO of Project C.U.R.E. Project C.U.R.E. has operated a distribution center in Chicago since 2014.

“We are honoured to work with Project C.U.R.E. in providing much needed medical supplies to the people of Serbia.  Currently, there are only 40 hospitals to serve nearly 9 million citizens.  These patients, families and children need our help to receive access to healthcare and hope”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine together with the Project C.U.R.E. representatives were also the guests at the luncheon hosted by Rotary Club of Chicago and the Rotary One Foundation, where they presented successful mutual cooperation and discussed the following steps in helping Serbia.
