An area of personal priority to HRH Crown Princess Katherine is working with children with special needs and in support of this effort The HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation has successfully funded the construction of many sensory rooms. These special sensory rooms are vital to the physical and mental development of special needs children and provide family, staff and teachers with a crucial resource in helping these children learn and grow.
Thanks to the support of Lifeline New York and the Serbian Diaspora a special sensory room was provided to special education school Ivo Lola Ribar in Kralvejo. Funding for this school was provided from events held in St. Petersberg, Florida and Miami, Florida.
“I am so grateful to the help and support from the Serbian community. It is because of these caring people that we can continue this important work. I especially wish to acknowledge the dedication and commitment of Daniela Bosnjak and Jugoslav Celikovic. They continue to bring together the Serbian Diaspora without whom we could not make this possible” shared HRH Crown Princess Katherine acknowledging the successful fundraising mission that provided these funds.
