CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION ORGANIZES FIRST INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP FOR DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING CHILDREN
Belgrade, 19 June 2017 – The first summer camp for children with impaired hearing in Serbia was organized by the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, the Holley Institute from Michigan United States led by Dr Daniel Megler and Mrs. Ardis Gardella, the School for hearing impaired - hard of hearing "Stefan Decanski", the organization "Young American Deaf" and the Serbian association of interpreters for hearing-impaired persons (UTLOSS), and the organization "Young American Deaf".
This is the first camp of its kind in Serbia and it was attended by 30 children. Within numerous workshops, the children had the opportunity to participate in art and drama sections, to socialize and make new acquaintances, as well as to visit Belgrade's cultural attractions.
The Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine thanks to hotels Crowne Plaza, Falkensteiner and Hyatt Regency for the catering of this summer camp.
