LIFELINE GREECE HUMANITARIAN EVENT FOR HOSPITAL IN ATHENS

The humanitarian organization Lifeline Hellas, which patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine, organized a charity dinner in support of the state hospital “Elena Venizelou”.

The event was held in the presence of HRH Crown Prince Alexander and HRH Crown Princess Katherine, HE the Minister of Health of Greece, Mr. Athanasios Plevris with his wife, the Goodwill Ambassador of Unesco, Ms. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis, HE Ambassador of Italy in Greece, Ms. Patrizia Falcinelli and the Rector of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Mr. Athanasios Dimopoulos and many others.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander addressed the esteemed guests and thanked the Minister of Health, the Board of Directors, and all the friends of Lifeline for their great support and achieving a successful event.

It is always important to help those who are in need. By providing support to “Elena Venizelou” state hospital you have made it possible for many lives to be saved and made a great difference for the wellbeing of others” stated HRH Crown Princes Katherine.

The Minister of Health, Mr. Plevris, thanked Princess Katherine and Lifeline Hellas for their great contribution to the state hospitals.

Dr. Iraklis Salvanos, Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the “Elena Venizelou” Hospital spoke about the importance of the donation that Lifeline provided, the expansion of the Neonatal Unit by 6 places, and thanked for the great help provided by Lifeline Hellas.
